Nexium Plaintiffs Oppose Lawsuit Dismissal

By Heidi Turner, LawyersandSettlements.com.

Plaintiffs involved in Nexium lawsuits have opposed AstraZeneca’s motion to dismiss the lawsuits. In all, up to 58 lawsuits are involved, with plaintiffs alleging they were not given the opportunity to fix reported issues with the lawsuits, including not having paperwork submitted in time. According to National Law Journal (3/13/14), more than 730 plaintiffs have reportedly not filed necessary paperwork.

Nexium is used to treat acid reflux. Lawsuits allege use of the drug is linked to an increased risk of bone fractures.
